GENERAL QUESTIONS
- Q : Is the listed capacity for each hinge or for a pair?
A : The capacities listed are considering two (2) TECTUS® hinges they have been engineered to work best with two (2)
- Q : Can I get a greater load capacity by adding hinges?
A : If greater capacity is required, use the next hinge in the line TECTUS® has hinge models to accommodate up to 440 lbs (200 kg) - TE 640 3D
- Q : Where do I place the hinges on the door?
A : Top and bottom hinges should be located 10" (on center) from the top and bottom edge of the door. Unlike with Soss hinges, a third TECTUS® hinge will not add capacity to the system. With taller doors, installers often use a third hinge in the center.

- Q : When would this hinge model be necessary?
A : When you need power and data in your door One (1) hinge should be specified as ENERGY
- Q : What is included in the ENERGY hinge package?
A : This hinge is NOT supplied with cables. Required energy cables are sold separately
